FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF and DUTY MANAGER/CHARGEHAND
Stereo is looking for two FoH Staff and one FoH Duty Manager/Chargehand to join our staff in a very friendly vegan bar, restaurant, and venue!
We are part of a larger company which manages The 78, Mono, The Flying Duck, The Glad Cafe and The Old Hairdressers. Our family of bars takes every effort to treat our staff fairly and respectfully, thus, part of your job will be to ensure everybody in the space - both staff and customers - have a positive experience during their time with us.
In addition, as animal-free produce spaces, we are committed to the highest standards of avoiding animal-derived produce and promoting a vegan diet and lifestyle. While you don’t need to be vegan to work here - and most of our employees aren’t - we do expect you to respect the culture and people’s choices and beliefs.
Chargehand (20+ hrs per week)
We are looking for someone with warmth and experience and the confidence to manage a team while keep the building running. Applicants must also be flexible to work a variety of shift times.
FoH Staff (15+ hrs per week or 6+ Hours per week)
We are looking for someone who has the ability to multitask on shift and has previous Front of House experience. No two weeks are the same so the ability to adapt to different environments is key as your responsibilities will be both within our main bar as well as our music venue. Applicants must also be flexible to work a variety of shift times.

SECURITY
We're looking to hire a small team of on-the-ball and conscientious Door Supervisors to our eclectic team.
This month Stereo is moving to create a security and stewarding team to help keep our customers and us safe and informed. Stereo is known for providing a welcoming environment and we expect our Door Supervisors, as often the first face people see, to be welcoming and supportive, even in the face of tough decisions.
Previous Door Supervisor experience is preferred and at this time we are only looking for active SIA license holders. Shifts will be evening based, with the majority around Thu, Fri & Sat nights. We have a diverse event schedule so other mid-week events may require staffing.
We are hiring for 1x 20 hour p/week position who will form[Job Description] our Lead Steward role and 2x flexible working positions, who will act as licensed Door Supervisors. Please make it clear on your application if you have a preference for the role you are looking for.
