Three Trapped Tigers

Three Trapped Tigers are a trio from London, UK, consisting of Adam Betts (drums), Matt Calvert (guitar and synths) and Tom Rogerson (keys) have been cultivated a cult following in the UK and across Europe with their unique brand of instrumental rock releasing a string of EPs (EP - 2008, EP 2 - 2009, EP3 - 2010) and two critically acclaimed albums. Their debut ‘Route One Or Die’ in 2011 and their second ‘Silent Earthling’ in 2016, having made fans of Chino Moreno (supporting Deftness on tour) and Brian Eno (doing Oblique Strategies with him when writing their second album) along the way.

As anyone who has seen their incendiary live shows will know, trying to pinpoint what makes the group such a force is a difficult thing to do. On stage they are something of a vortex, creating a swirling mass of layered sounds that suck the audience in, possessing that rare ability of managing to sound complex and fluid whilst eschewing any feelings of pomposity or sterility - in full force Three Trapped Tigers feel both gracefully intelligent and wildly primal, gargantuan yet beautifully melodic.
