Uninvited Formed after a series of chance meetings on public transport in Dundee and Glasgow, Ray Dillon, Gillian Dhlakama, Bex Young and Fiorenza Cocozza became Uninvited in August 2020. Fuelled by a desire to become the change they wanted to see, the four-piece began to write songs that brought the LGBTQ+ conversation to the forefront – challenging traditional tropes of indie music and putting their own indelible stamp on the genre.
The Big Day Glasgow 4-piece THE BIG DAY are tearing down the divide between guitar music and mainstream pop that sees the band blend sounds and influences as diverse as David Bowie & The Weeknd. They have developed a sound and aesthetic that transcends the boundaries of current guitar music and sees the band look towards the pop world with an unwavering ambition and burning momentum. Despite being a band for just over a year, a groundswell of hype has already formed around THE BIG DAY perpetuated by their rapidly growing fanbase.
Lavender Lane
Lavender Lane are a three piece pop band from Glasgow. They launched in 2021 with debut single ‘Blame’, landing on Spotify and Amazon playlists, as well as features on Tenement TV, BBC introducing Scotland, amazing radio and in the Glasgow Evening Times. The band plans to record and release new music in the second half of 2022 and continue to play live shows throughout Scotland. Chef Chef is an emerging MC cooking up a storm with an eclectic sound showcasing an exceptional talent for skilled lyricism, in depth storytelling and impactful punchlines in both up-tempo and slowed down beats. Backed by Radio 1 as one of their Top Tips for 2022, Chef has found himself as one of the most prominent artists in the Scottish scene. This is highlighted by 2 Scottish Alternative Music Award nominations in 2021 and the numerous features from platforms, including BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Scotland’s TUNE, Link Up TV, Up2Stndrd, STV and CLASH Magazine. The track “Find A Way” from his debut EP; ‘The World Is Mine’ earned Chef “Track of the Week” on BBC 1Xtra.
