LightsOut w/ Al Kent (BBE/Million Dollar Disco)

After a lengthened Summertime hiatus we return in spectacular fashion with none other than Glasgow's own disco hero; Million Dollar Disco DJ, BBE Records compiler and re-edit producer Al Kent to the Stereo basement.

If you haven't caught one of his annual Million Dollar Disco parties at The Berkley Suite or recently witnessed him fill in for Nicky Siano on closing duties for this year's West End Fiesta afterparty at the SubClub, then now is the time.

We've heavily favoured his recent compilation release; a 3 x CD and 2 x 5LP box set called "The Men In The Glass Booth", on BBE Music, launched at one of the most recent Melting Pot nights at The Admiral. A 6 year long project to follow up the Best of "Disco Demands"; a 5x CD/2x double vinyl set made up of rarer tracks, originally on limited release on Million Dollar Disco.

Perhaps most famous for his disco edits and remixes, most recently for the likes of The Bank, Odyssey, Sandy Barber, Stanton Davis, The Sunburst Band, Tom Noble and Tommy Stewart to name a few. His production releases vary from his own Million Dollar Disco to other equally noteable labels such as Razor N Tape and Kojak.
