Stereo presents: Hang Linton, Sheba Q, Junglehussi & Babyjaii
We’re so excited to bring this this incredible line-up of artists to the Glasgow basement on the 9th of November, each redefining the boundaries of genre and creativity.
Hang Lington is one of our favourite musicians working today. Hang channels the counterculture movement that shaped them. A self-taught, interdisciplinary artist, their work is a rebellion against clean aesthetics and working underneath capitalist structures which demand high output. Recently named BBC 6 Music’s “Hot Tip” & bbc introducing West Yorkshire Track of the week with their new single, wishbones, out on @cpwmrecords.
Seeing them play live this summer their energy & performance was unforgettable.
Sheba Q:
By day, a math teacher; by night, a boundary-pushing jungle artist, Sheba Q refuses to be boxed into one genre She wants you to know that Jungle is the mother of Grime and the sister of Hip-Hop when she steps up to the turntables, Sheba Q has come a long way in the past four years, having sung on, co-produced and released multiple tracks with Saxon King, Double O and a collaboration with Tim Reaper on Future Retro. She’s a creative force unafraid to experiment, bringing both energy and fresh ideas to her sets. Another incredible talent we’re excited to welcome to Glasgow.
