BreakHaus Debut Party: Face2Face

BreakHaus: Where Beats Collide and Sounds Unite.

Face to Face (F2F) is the heart of BreakHaus, and it isn't your typical setup. Conjuring a musical face off where DJs go head to head, track for track, F2F is a challenge of who can stoke the dance-floor and keep the night alive. Not to be mistaken for the beloved Back to Back format, F2F features two DJ setups facing each other, making way for a gripping showdown of tune-based skills.

The first edition of BreakHaus brings forth a lineup of local talent. Headlining the debut we have Corran F2F Hu-Sane:

Having played alongside big names like Goldie, Roza Terenzi and the Prototypes to name a few, Corran has been making a name for herself across the nation with her pristine selections of all things UK underground. Corran's DJing abilities are nothing short of eclectic; from showing masterful crowd control at an array of festivals to repeatedly firing down at any one of her plethora of club night residencies, it's clear she is mastering her craft. An exciting match for Hu-Sane.

Hu-Sane is a genre-defying DJ/Producer with nearly two decades of experience. Hu-Sane came into the spotlight five years ago, fueled by her love of UK Bhangra and Bass music, with a mission to bring South Asian music to the forefront of Glasgow's scene. Hu-Sane plays unapologetically aggressive sets injecting South Asian sounds into the gritty beats of Bass/Breaks/UKG. Beside hosting radio shows across Glasgow and Newcastle, her productions have featured on BBC Radio One. This September sees the brainchild of Hu-Sane, Haram Haram debut its launch party at Sub Club.

Warming up the dance floor for this epic showdown is BreakHaus founder Teodor going F2F with Roy Don. Easily one of Glasgow's best selectors, Roy Don has found massive success with his night ThudLine. He keeps his lineups crisp, time and again bringing in hot guests like Dusty Dan, with big-time DJ/Producer Toma Kami coming to ThudLine this September. The success of ThudLine stands testament to Mr Don's curating abilities. He stays in your face with genre-defying sets packed full of contagious rhythms and hard hitting beats - a truly skilled DJ.
