Join us for new series of events highlighting some of the best Glasgow's talent, going back 2 back the whole night.

For the first in the series, we are excited to invite Radio Buena Vida's Emma Diamon and Africa Is Now founder Optimistic Soul.

All profit made from the event will be donated towards purchase of eSims for Gaza.

Emma Diamond:

Emma Diamond is a DJ and selector known for her eclectic, leftfield musical taste both on the radio and in the club, with choices that span from shamanic dances and idyllic atmospheres, with a particular love for visceral vocal play & percussive rhythms.

A true digger, Emma happily spends hours scouring record shops & disappearing down bandcamp wormholes hunting for gems that speak to her. She shares her discoveries on her regular radio shows with Radio Buena Vida & Clydebuilt, & has also appeared on NTS. Emma has been invited to share her musical soundscape all round Glasgow & beyond, playing all of the local favourite clubs, designing a special deep listening set for co:clear, and around Europe at Murmur (AMS) Objects & Sounds (BELG) & Spazio Porta Del Parco (ITA).

Optimistic Soul:

Southern African born DJ based in Glasgow who’s affinity with African electronic music developed from a very young age.Optimistic soul who’s real name (sibusiso mpofu) style can be best described as afro house, afro tech and melodic techno

African electronic music DJ and Producer, Optimistic Soul has great passion for pushing the underground afrohouse/afrotech sound. The Glasgow based DJ & producer has been making his music since 2015 and has since started deejaying in 2018.Resident Dj at jaiva Glasgow, Radio buena Vida and also part of the afrohouse record label Weareidyll (London). Optimistic Soul aspires to continue to spread the sound of African electronic Music , just as how people who inspire him such as black coffee, culoe de song , osunlade have done.

Optimistic soul holds a strong feeling of wanting to let the world know of the music that has been among us for all these years and firmly believes that it needs a bigger platform to encourage diversity and also for the progression the underground sound as a whole
