The Plastic Youth Album Launch
Entry Requirements: over 14s (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult)
Join The Plastic Youth as they take to the stage at Stereo to celebrate their debut album launch.
The Plastic Youth is composed of two brothers and childhood friends, who set out to offer a youthful take on melody and harmony from the 60s, alongside driving euphoric instrumentation - creating something uniquely fresh and nostalgic.
With their previous singles being praised by the likes of BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing, and BBC Ulster (Mickey Bradley), The Plastic Youth made headway and gathered momentum for their self-titled debut album.
Their debut album was produced and championed by Teenage Fanclub’s Gerry Love, alongside Riverside Music Studio’s Ross Cameron, stitching The Plastic Youth into the cultural tapestry of Scottish music. The album is a testament to the band’s musical odyssey and stands as something truly special. An infectious new perspective.
Just recently back from touring throughout the UK, playing the likes of Rough Trade East, The Plastic Youth prepare for their home town headline at Stereo, Glasgow.
