Wasted Youth

Wasted Youth, the original post-punk pre-goth band from 1979/1982, and reformed in 2022, have played three sold-out shows in London in February, April and May of 2022. They were also special guests on the Psychedelic Furs recent UK tour, which included an appearance at the iconic Royal Albert Hall last April. They played their last gig of the year at the Oslo in Hackney in October, 2022, to a near capacity crowd.

They play Glasgow STEREO on Friday, March 17, 2023, and would love to see you there! Historically, in Glasgow, and Scotland in general, Wasted Youth had a strong and loyal following. This will be the first time we?re going to play there in 41 long years, can you believe it! We hope to see you all there, and oh yeah, we are releasing new vinyl in time for the gig and there will be an opportunity to meet the band and for us to meet you!

There are plenty of live reviews and YouTube footage of the band (both old and current) and a well-run Facebook page with up-to-date tour details, news and general announcements. Wasted Youth feature in three of the last four issues of ?Vive Le Rock? magazine as well as receiving glowing contemporary reviews in online music sites such as ?Louder than War?, ?Kill your Pet Puppy?, ?Whisperinandhollerin? and ?Darker Side of Music? to name but a few. Lots of pics, reviews and interviews, are available all over the net. Posters and merchandise will be available at the gig.
