Jesse Dayton plus support
Entry Requirements: over 18s only
Jesse Dayton is making Glasgow a one-night stand in October, his first visit to the city in a long, long time.
With new album, The Revealer, out now, Austin, Texas-based Jesse is set for a show at Stereo on Wednesday, October 25.
Playing some 150 gigs a year he has been building a cult following around the globe playing festivals in North America and Europe for years.
His guitar shredding, country-infused, Americana hits the spot for his faithful fans – they are known as “Hardchargers” – around the globe.
He has played lead guitar on recordings, and live, with country legends Waylon Jennings, Ray Price, Johnny Bush, Willie Nelson and Glen Campbell.
He formed his own record label, Stag Records in 2002, has recorded a mean bunch of albums plus film sound tracks – and he recently wrote and directed a new horror movie, “Zombex”.
Jesse also landed the part of Kinky Friedman in a stage production of “Becoming Kinky: The World According To Kinky Friedman”.
This is a man who knows how to write, how to perform and how to please his fans so it’s great we can bring his long absence from Scotland to an end with this show.
