Alicia Witt & Paul Carella
Entry Requirements: over 18s only
The multi-talented singer songwriter and actress will be supporting her upcoming release, 15,000 Days: Part I, which was produced by GRAMMY Award-winning Jacquire King (James Bay, Niall Horan, Kings of Leon, Norah Jones, Modest Mouse, Dawes) and is slated to drop later this year.
Playing her piano-driven pop-rock music all over the world, including a performance at the renowned Grand Ole Opry, Witt has performed alongside such artists as Ben Folds Five, John Fullbright, Rachel Platten, Jimmy Webb and Bob Schneider.
Her previous album, 2015’s Revisionary History, was produced by Ben Folds and was hailed by Nashville Scene as “a piano-pop gem that sounds by turns like “Grey Seal”-era Elton John, an alt-universe Fiona Apple and a film-noir chanteuse notching her nights in cigarette burns on the fallboard.”
Witt will stay busy through the end of the year, appearing in the Netflix series Disjointed (with Kathy Bates) airing August 2017, and Showtime’s third season of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks.
Quadruple-threat (singer, songwriter, pianist and acclaimed actor) Alicia Witt is “as straightforward as she is talented.” (Forbes) With three decades of acting (The Walking Dead, Supernatural, Nashville, House of Lies and more) and a successful album, Revisionary History, under her belt, she is ready for superstardom. Making her debut at the Grand Ole Opry in 2016, Witt has performed on CBS’ Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, The Queen Latifah Show and recently wrapped her residency at Los Angeles’ famed Hotel Café. Her next project, 15,000 Days: Part I, is slated to be released later this year independently.
ABOUT PAUL CARELLA:
Paul is an international and multi award winning singer/songwriter. Self-taught, he learned his trade playing in the pubs and clubs of Glasgow. Since then, Paul has independently released four studio albums to date and has worked with some of the industries finest such as Alan Price of the legendary Animals, Steve Craddock of Paul Weller and Ocean Colour Scene, Alabama 3, Jason Manns, Rob Benedict, Tony Lucca and Ernie Halter to name but a few. He has headlined stages at festivals such as Guilfest and Country to Country held a London's O2 Arena. Paul is currently touring across Europe with his latest releases, his critically acclaimed Dead Town EP and his limited edition Bootleg Series Vol. 1 album. He is currently recording, what will be his fifth album which will be released in mid to late 2017.
Since a young age, Paul has shown a hunger for music. Finding his first idol at the age of 4 in Elvis Presley, singing along and following Elvis, move for move in his parents living room. That hunger was stifled for many years by a crippling shyness, that Paul eventually broke through and became the outgoing person he is today. Finding other influence in artists such as Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen and most recently Glen Hansard, Paul has matured into an artist of the people, writing songs about day to day life, relationships, hardships, topics that the people can really relate to.
