Having scored off many of our favourite artists, DJ\'s and producers from a wishlist created beforehand. Including the likes of; Pilooski, Joakim, Silver Apples, James Holden, Aeroplane, DJ Kaos, Congregation, Todd Terje, Kelley Polar, Marissa Nadler, Musiccargo, Francisco, James Pants and much more (including our local hereos) over the ensuing months - many of whom making Glasgow debuts - we\'ve finally reached our first anniversary. To celebrate, our initial plan had been to continue in form by scoring off another legend from our ever-growing wishlist, instead we decided to throw a free festive party to thank those on the dancefloor who\'ve made the past year so special... Playing alongside H&P will be Pro Vinylist Karim - a face known to most who\'ve purchased fine records from Glasgow\'s Rub a Dub, or stumbled out of our favourite darkened hovel, the Variety Bar. Wrong Island\'s Teamy marks his return from New York - almost certain to be laden with DFA goodies and tales a-plenty. A H&P night wouldn\'t be the same without David Barbarossa who has upstaged many of the famous guests he\'s appeared alongside. How Green Is Your Diet? With the United Nations recent recommendation that if we all want to help decelerate climate change we should give up meat consumption for one day a week (initially, decreasing onwards) stereo has decided to get involved in the UN`s campaign for meat-free Mondays. A 2006 UN report found that the meat industry produces more greenhouse gas emissions than all those from the suv`s, cars, trucks, planes and ships combined around the globe. A surprising statistic but one that allows us to have a massive impact on climate change by reducing our consumption of animal produce one day a week. All the food produced in stereo is already free from any animal produce so we have decided to offer our customers a wee bit extra every Monday.This month you can get any five tapas dishes for 10 pounds. This offer is available on Mondays between 2pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm. - £10.00
